Lundy Projects were awarded a Bechtel Corporation Quality Right First Time Award this week for our work on Crossrail Enhanced Stations for our client Bechtel and Network Rail.
The works entailed the fabrication and installation of steelwork structures including Access for All (AfA) footbridges, lift shafts and staircases at four stations on Crossrail West, the western section of the new Elizabeth line route: West Ealing, Ealing Broadway, Acton Main Line and Southall.
Lundy Projects worked collaboratively with the client and other stakeholders on an extremely tight programme to ensure that all works were delivered on time and to budget, including over a successful Christmas blockade.
A representative for Bechtel commented, “Lundy Projects have continually produced a high quality of work and exhibited ‘right first time’ behaviour whilst fabricating and installing steelworks at four stations on the project. Thank you for embodying our Bechtel value of Quality!”
We would like to thank and congratulate all Lundy Projects staff who were involved in the project, especially in maintaining our safety record on site.
Lundy Projects Project Manager Darren Lapping is presented with the award by Bechtel Principal Field Engineer Anthony Ziya.
